Even some of our fondest memories fade with time. There are images, words, spoken ideas, and details of a person's life that give insight to their way of thinking. For those who did not have a chance to meet and work with Magda Gerber in person, I hope the contents of this active book will help fill the gaps in the information about her and her work that is already available.
The purpose of this book is to preserve (as much as possible), in original form, the expressions of wisdom and teachings of my mother, Magda Gerber.
I hope to grow and share the contents of this book with the help of those who knew, worked, or studied with her, using the convenience of modern technology. A short biography from each contributor will allow the reader an opportunity to know how to interpret each contribution. One chapter: "Magda Stories" will be open to all readers for contribution, without the need for a detailed bio.
An active book can contain images, videos, and sound recordings as well as text. It is called active, because it is not static and additions can be made by a number of people, thus the book will continue to grow and change in content over time.
